I can't believe my eyes ----- I can't believe what I am hearing
I see through the disguise ----- its ugly head is slowly rearing
Despite all their paper and ink
I still know how to think
The tv image blurs ---- how different is the life they're selling
Something in me stirs --- i'm told the next shows is compelling
Who are they anyhow ---- ms. Holier-than-thou
Forgets that I know-how ---- to change my world
